DATE: 4 - 26 - 2023

I had my illustration finals today and they went well! My first one was drawing the people around me at the sandwich shop we were at, and I had a lot of fun doing that. The second one was showing off my zine. Everyone seemed to like it but one person didn't even bother to read it, and luckily that person was called out by a fellow classmate. We have had issues with that classmate in the past, so I wasn't surprised when he didn't read it. Apart from that, everybody seemed to do a pretty good job with the assignment. This would be my last illustration class for the semester, so now I have my javascript final to look forward to. I'm going to spend as much time as I can today and tomorrow looking over the material.

I'm also going to see Evil Dead tonight, and I'm wondering if I should dress up for it. I only say that because I know I want to dress up to see the Barbie movie when it comes out. I might as well dress to see Evil Dead too, since horror is one of my favorite genres of film.

DATE: 4 - 25 - 2023

Today I spent most of my day hanging out with my friends, and I feel much better than I usually do as the night approaches. Working on my website also brings me a lot of joy, so I spent a lot of time on it today. The about page is finished, and the portfolio page looks much more in-line with the rest of my website. Finding images I want to use on pinterest has been the hardest part of this; for whatever reason, when I search something on Pinterest it doesn't show me things that are related to the search.

Tomorrow I have my finals for illustration and I am excited to share my zines with my class. My zine is about trans visibility, acceptance, and education. Hopefully I will have a good response from the class, as well as a good grade from my professor. I'm not too worried about that exam, but I am worried about my DIFD exam. I haven't had a problem with that class until we got to javascript. It's a language I don't understand at all, and no amount of studying seems to help. Hopefully, retaking the final will land me a better grade.
